Mysterious AEW Debutant Earns Plenty Of Praise

Tony Khan AEW

There was a big debut on AEW Collision recently and there’s been a lot of backstage reaction for the debutant and their opponent.

On the July 6th episode of AEW Collision, a video clip showed the command “holo.grm” being typed into a computer. We then saw the back of a man in white running and jumping into a digital portal before the screen changed to a close-up of a mysterious man in a mask. The clip ended with the words “loading soon.”

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net reported that the mystery man is former AAA star Aramis. The report noted that he would not be using that name in AEW and many are already referring to him as Hologram given what appeared in the vignette. And now Hologram has arrived.

On the 20th of July edition of Collision, Hologram made his AEW debut, picking up a win against Gringo Loco and it seems those in charge were very happy with what they saw.

Plenty Of Praise After AEW Debut

Fightful Select reported that there was a lot of praise for Hologram following his debut but there was also a lot for Gringo Loco as well. Loco is not signed with AEW but has worked with Hologram many times over the last few years.

It was also noted that there was going to be “technologically ambitious” elements of Hologram’s presentation and that there is more planned for him in that regard moving forward.
