Mustafa Ali Gone From WWE
Mustafa Ali has announced his shock exit from WWE.
Mustafa Ali’s turbulent time in WWE looks to have come to an end just two days after he appeared live on NXT television taking issue with the fact that Dragon Lee will challenge for Dominik Mysterio’s North American Championship on Raw. That match will take place despite Ali beating Lee to become number one contender for the title but Ali’s match was not set to happen until No Mercy on the 30th of September.
However, it doesn’t look like Ali is interested in a title match of any kind as he made a shock announcement.
Taking to social media, Mustafa Ali announced that he was no longer working with WWE, signing off his message with his real name Adeel:
“I am longer working with WWE. I look forward to the future. Thank you, -Adeel”

Mustafa Ali previously asked to leave WWE
Ali took to social media back in January 2022 to reveal that he was requesting his release from WWE. Reports at the time suggested Ali’s prolonged absence from WWE TV at the time was down to issues with his “New America” gimmick that he had brought to NXT in recent weeks.
The idea was accepted at first, however, Vince McMahon seemingly decided against it and pitched something else that was said to be “something Mustafa Ali would never have done.” This resulted in a heated argument between the two and Ali’s later absence from WWE.
