Multiple AEW Stars Closing In On Return

AEW’s roster will soon be boosted by a couple of returns.

Dante Martin has been out of action since suffering a nasty injury at ROH Supercard of Honor back in March. On the show, Dante teamed with his brother Darius in the ‘Reach for the Sky Ladder Match’ in honour of Jay Briscoe. The winners walked away with the ROH World Tag Team Titles.

During the match, Dante was on the receiving end of a Canadian Destroyer from a ladder to the outside through a table.

It’s now been reported by Fightful Select that Dante Martin has been spotted backstage at a recent AEW show. Back in July, it was said the high-flyer was ahead of schedule in his recovery.

Darius Martin has remained active in his brother’s absence wrestling with ROH, but his most recent match took place on the November 10th episode of Collision.

It’s also been reported by Fightful that Marq Quen is also closing in on a return. Quen has been out of action for a year and his injury meant that tag team partner Isiah Kassidy also fell from view after teaming with The Hardys and Ethan Page. However, Kassidy was recently spotted backstage.

AEW Launches Continental Classic

On November 22nd, AEW launched the Continental Classic.

The round-robin tournament kicked off on Dynamite, with Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, and Jay White all picking up wins. The finals of the tournament will take place at Worlds End on December 30th.
