More Details On Ronda Rousey’s Current Injury
Ronda Rousey was pulled from action on SmackDown recently due to an injury, and now it has been revealed just what the nature of that injury is.
Ronda Rousey was originally meant to be part of a big tag team match on SmackDown in Washington D.C. where she was meant to partner with Shayna Baszler to take on Natalya and Tegan Nox.
However, on the show, WWE showed footage from earlier in the day where the two teams brawled backstage. As a result of that brawl, it was explained that Rousey suffered an arm injury and therefore Baszler would be facing Tegan Nox in a one-on-one match.
While, many believed Ronda Rousey’s injury to be part of the show, Wade Keller of PWTorch has reported that the injury is legitimate and that it is believed the former SmackDown Women’s Champion “aggravated a prior injury.” However, it is not believed that Rousey’s injury will impact the possibility of her having a bout at WrestleMania 39.
PWInsider has reported that Ronda Rousey is suffering from a hairline fracture in her arm and confirms that there has been “no discussion” about the star missing WrestleMania. It is believed that Rousey and Baszler will find themselves challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
