Montez Ford’s Surprising Take On Bianca Belair’s Possible Heel Turn

While learning her trade in NXT, Bianca Belair starred as both a heel and a babyface. As well as her obvious athletic and in-ring skills, this versatility helped mark her out as a star of the future.

However, since arriving on the main roster in 2020, Belair has become a beloved fan favourite and remains one of the most popular stars in the company. But that hasn’t stopped speculation that she could make a shock move to the dark side.

During an appearance on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, Belair’s husband, Montez Ford, gave his thoughts on her long-rumoured heel turn, suggesting that fans will never turn their backs on her.

“I told her that. She can try to go heel, she can try to go bad, they just gonna rock with her man.”

Jade Cargill Hints At Problems With Bianca Belair

Although a heel turn for Belair remains theoretical at this stage, many fans believe it could come as part of her storyline with Jade Cargill. The pair teamed together for much of 2024 and won the Women’s Tag Team Championship on two occasions.

They were still the champions when Naomi took Cargill out of action that November, before replacing her alongside Belair. This sparked not only a rivalry between Cargill and Naomi but also uncertainty and mistrust between Cargill and Belair.

In a recent interview, Jade Cargill said that she and Bianca Belair have yet to discuss their relationship, despite the latter being the special guest referee when Cargill faced Naomi at Evolution.

Bianca Belair hasn’t wrestled since breaking her finger at WrestleMania 41.

Montez Ford will be back in action on SmackDown, where he’ll team with Angelo Dawkins to clash with Solo Sikoa’s MFT.
