MJF Wouldn’t Succeed In WWE Says Ex-Announcer

MJF AEW

MJF has done almost everything in AEW but one former announcer thinks the star wouldn’t have a hope of succeeding in WWE.

MJF is on the verge of joining The Hurt Syndicate after weeks of trying to ingratiate himself into the group. MVP was the first to accept the star, followed by Shelton Benjamin, but Bobby Lashley held out week after week until The Salt of the Earth proved once again he could live up to the group’s motto by hurting people.

MJF has mixed it with the likes of Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, Hangman Adam Page, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Darby Allin, while he has also held the AEW World Championship for 406 days. All of that is to say, he is no slouch, but could he ever be a success in WWE? Jonathan Coachman doesn’t think so.

Would MJF Make It In WWE?

Speaking on Coach & Bro Live, former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman was asked if he thought MJF was the next WWE megastar, and it seems he’s changed his mind:

I used to think that. But the way things have gone, the way he’s gone about things. I don’t know if AEW has tarnished him or if he still has what it takes to be a megastar in the WWE or still staying in AEW.

Fans will have to wait a while if that question is ever to be answered, as MJF is believed to have signed a new AEW deal in recent years, but just how long that contract lasts is still unknown.
