It’s very common in this era for people to celebrate gym goals even when you’re an AEW World Champion like MJF.

The AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) has a lot on his mind these days as he prepares to main event All In London, which is AEW’s biggest show ever at Wembley Stadium with over 80,000+ fans in attendance.

That mass of humanity will get to witness two MJF matches at All In. That’s because Maxwell and his “best friend” Adam Cole will challenge Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team Titles on the Zero Hour pre-show. Later that same night, MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Cole, which should be a tough test for the champion.

As the AEW World Champion, Maxwell has wrestled more this year than in previous years. He also has gotten into the best shape of his life.

On Twitter/X, Maxwell Jacob Friedman shared a quick video with this message about his photo going on the wall at a famous gym along with many other accomplished athletes.

As a kid I was afraid to train at “the east coast Mecca” I was told only the biggest and baddest were allowed in.

When I finally started training there I’d look at photos of the men that trained there and were asked to have their 8×10’s put on the wall.

Guys like Rock, Steiner, Taz, Hogan,
Haney, Yates, Ronnie, Cutler, Heath, Kai, etc.

My goal was to one day get on the wall.

Thanks Bevs.

How Long Has MJF Been AEW World Champion?

Maxwell Jacob Friedman has been the AEW World Champion since Full Gear in November 2022 meaning it’s been over nine months since he won the coveted championship.

During that time, MJF has beaten the likes of Bryan Danielson in a 60+ minute Iron Man Match at Revolution in March, he held on to the gold against Jack Perry, Sammy Guevara & Darby Allin in a 4-way match and he’s also beaten the legendary Hiroshi Tanahashi as well.
