MJF Claims Major AEW Star Will Never Be Seen Again

MJF is not interested in stirring up old issues as he claims one major AEW star will never be seen again because they’re dead.

MJF was betrayed by Adam Cole back at World’s End as he revealed himself to be the Devil in AEW allowing Samoa Joe to win the AEW World Championship.

Any feud between Better Than You Bay-Bay was put on hold, however, as Adam Cole was suffering from a badly broken ankle and MJF took time away from the company following his loss.

At Double Or Nothing 2024, Adam Cole cut a promo on the show which led to MJF’s surprise return to AEW. After a brief interaction, MJF kicked Cole below the belt and seemingly put an end to any issues between them with Cole still not ready to return to action.

MJF Has Killed Adam Cole

Speaking to WrestleTalk, MJF was asked if he still had his sights set on Adam Cole and the Undisputed Kingdom but the AEW American Champion claims that fans won’t see Cole again and he has no interest in battling sidekicks:

He’s dead. I’ve been told by several people he’s dead. I murdered him.

Well no (no unfinished business with the Undisputed Kingdom). I cut off the head of the snake, it’s over. I see a lot of people bringing this up. Guys, I work smarter, not harder. What, you wanna do MJF vs. like, seven f**king dudes? I’m good bro. I got my revenge.

Adam Cole’s dead, he’s never coming back to wrestling. He’s gone. He’s gone forever. You will never hear Adam Cole’s voice, you’ll never see Adam Cole’s matches again, you’ll never see another Adam Cole promo, you will never see Adam Cole do anything. I murdered him dead. So you tell me, why would I give a s**t about the sidekicks?

MJF and Adam Cole put friendship front and centre when they battled for the AEW World Championship at the first AEW All In show in 2023. When MJF returns to Wembley Stadium, he will put the American Title on the line against Will Ospreay and there will be no question of friendship between those two stars.
