MJF Loses Tables ‘N’ Tacks Match At AEW All Out

MJF lost a very personal battle against Mark Briscoe.

At AEW All Out, Maxwell Jacob Friedman faced Briscoe in a first-ever Tables ‘n’ Tacks Match.

Both wrestlers have been feuding since after All In: Texas. In the subsequent weeks, following the Texas pay-per-view, MJF gained a couple of wins over Briscoe.

During the September 6 taping of Collision, Maxwell challenged Mark Briscoe, letting the latter to choose a stipulation.

On the following episode of Collision, Briscoe referenced the late Sabu, saying he wanted a “T&T” match, revealing it as Tables and Thumbtacks match.

Mark Briscoe Wins Big Over MJF

Having decided the stipulation, Mark Briscoe had the most to lose.

The match not only saw the use of thumbtacks and tables, but a chair nailed with thumbtacks also came into use.

Maxwell, who recently got married, made a personal statement referencing his marriage that left a bad taste in many fans’ mouths.

MJF gained the early advantage by backdropping Briscoe on the tacks that were spread out in the ring.

Briscoe endured several close pinfalls, but persevered through the hurt to ultimately end the match by hitting a Jay Driller on his opponent.
