MJF Disgusts AEW Fans With Comment About His New Wife
MJF went a step too far for some AEW fans as he dropped a demeaning comment about his new wife on Dynamite.
MJF is consumed with hate like never before. He failed to capture the AEW World Championship from Adam Page at Forbidden Door, and that has only increased his rage.
In recent months, MJF has been consumed by a feud with Mistico in CMLL, but in AEW, it’s the beloved Mark Briscoe who has caught his attention.
MJF has already beaten Briscoe, but wouldn’t let things lie there. He threatened to set Briscoe on fire to get Page to agree to his stipulations for their title match, and the normally fun-loving Briscoe has snapped.
Briscoe has caused MJF to do the same, with The Salt of the Earth agreeing to a match at All Out where Briscoe can choose any stipulation he wishes. Briscoe has yet to reveal what that would be, but on the September 10th edition of Dynamite, it was clear MJF is close to the edge.
MJF Married To Hate
MJF recently married AEW broadcaster Alicia Atout, and that came up in a vignette that aired on the September 10th edition of Dynamite from the previous episode of Collision. An irate MJF noted that his bride asked him about their honeymoon, to which he replied:
I made a beeline dash to the front door of my house and my wife, my newlywed wife screams out to me, she goes, ‘Where are you going? What about our honeymoon?’ I said ‘Toots, no honeymoon can start until Mark Briscoe is dead.’
And just as I started twisting that doorknob, she screams out, ‘If you leave right now, we’re done!’ You know what I said, Mark? I said ‘You silly litte b*tch, I was married way before I ever met you. I am married to the game! I am married to hate! I am married to vengeance! I am married to ending you, Mark Briscoe.
Naturally, MJF talking about his new wife this way did not go down well with all fans, despite clearly being part of his on-screen character.
