MJF Can Tolerate One Person On AEW Roster

MJF isn’t looking for friends.

Despite being one of AEW’s biggest stars, MJF’s abrasive on-screen personality means that at least in storyline, he’s not exactly overrun with friends. And in truth, that’s just how he likes it. Remember, he’s better than you, and you know it.

During an interview with Jimmy Traina on the SI Media Podcast, the star was asked whether there’s anyone he actually likes in AEW. He replied that obviously there isn’t, but he can tolerate Taz because he lives in Long Island.

“No… you know what, I tolerate Taz. I tolerate Taz. He is a Long Island guy himself. He’ll say he’s from Red Hook. This man has been living in Long Island far longer than he lived in Red Hook. This man is a Long Islander through and through. We get along. We talk about bagels and delis and diners. I tolerate Taz.”

MJF Secured Huge AEW Pay Day

During the same interview, MJF claimed he’d have made more than $15 million by the end of his AEW contract. The star went on to say that he won the bidding war for his services because he’d forced AEW into giving him such a massive deal.

Following Worlds End 2023, the star went on a lengthy hiatus, not returning to Double or Nothing in May of the following year. During this period, it was reported that MJF had signed a new AEW contract, although there was no word on how long the deal would last.

The former World Champion will be back in action at Revolution when he takes on Hangman Adam Page.
