Missing WWE Star Returns At Live Event

An absent WWE star has made their return to the ring.

Tommaso Ciampa has been hunting high and low for his old friend and sometimes nemesis Johnny Gargano in recent weeks. Gargano has not appeared on WWE television since May when he was part of a number one contender’s battle royal for the Intercontinental Title and Ciampa has clearly been concerned.

Gargano had competed on live events during his TV absence with the last of those coming at the end of July, until now that is. Johnny Wrestling was back in a WWE ring at live events on the 9th and 10th of September, losing on both occasions to the giant Omos.

When will Johnny Gargano be back on WWE TV?

It remains unclear when Gargano will be back on WWE television but when he is, he looks set to reunite with Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano teased that Ciampa was nearing a return to action before his absence and with Ciampa launching a campaign to find him, it seems the former NXT Tag Team Champions will be doing it themselves on Raw very soon.

Following the Draft in the spring, Gargano was joined on Raw by his wife Candice LeRae and their partners in The Way Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis. Given their history together, LeRae seemed unsure about welcoming Ciampa back into Gargano’s life.
