Missing Star Confirms AEW Status Amid Ongoing Absence

After months of absence, one AEW star has clarified their status with the company.

In recent months, former members of the AEW roster have re-emerged in WWE with Shawn Spears and Ethan Page notably joining the NXT brand. In January, Andrade returned to WWE after a stint in Tony Khan’s company that never really got going for the Mexican star. With AEW keeping quiet about exits, this has raised questions over several stars that have not been seen for some time in the company.

The Blade Still Part Of AEW

Speaking in an appearance on K&S WrestleFest, The Blade was asked about his own status with AEW after missing several months from the ring and confirmed he’s still All Elite but injured just now:

I’m just on injury reserve right now but yes, still with the company [AEW].

The Blade was then asked if he’d be back in action before AEW returns to Wembley Stadium for All In and he remains hopeful despite possibly needing surgery:

I’m hoping so.. My back’s bad. It’s slowly but surely getting better but I’m hoping to be back in a couple months and I hope to be back by then…A lot of wear and tear… Might be [having surgery]. That’s what we’re in the midst of right now.
