Missing AEW Stars Training For Return
Two stars have not been seen in AEW in quite some time but now it seems they’re preparing for their return to Tony Khan’s company.
At the February 14th taping for AEW Rampage, Jeff Hardy suffered a broken nose during a No Disqualification with Sammy Guevara. However, during the match, there was also a concern that Hardy suffered a concussion, but despite this, concussion protocol wasn’t followed and the Spanish God hit the veteran with his finish.
Sammy Guevara was suspended by AEW as a result of the situation and he has not been seen since. Meanwhile, his opponent on that fateful night, Jeff Hardy left the company after his contract expired bringing his ill-fated time in AEW to an end.
Guevara and fellow AEW star Tay Melo welcomed their first child together in November 2023. Tay Melo has not competed in the company since January 2023 but now it seems a return for them both could be on the horizon.
Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo Targeting AEW Return
Taking to social media, Sammy Guevara paid tribute to his wife and revealed that they are both training for their eventual return to the ring:
Just wanna say this mama right here is doing such a great job. We are both training for our comebacks and I wish yall could see how much work she puts in. Some days are harder than others but she has been killing it, all while being a great mom and wife! She doesn’t give herself the credit so just wanna say you are doing great mama & we all can’t wait for your return @taymelo

A recent report suggested AEW has held talks regarding a return for Sammy Guevara in recent weeks but it remains to be seen when he or Tay Melo will be back in the ring.
