An AEW wrestler who has been out of the ring for over a year has finally returned to television.

Scorpio Sky is an AEW original who was All Elite when the company launched in January 2019. Sky and Frankie Kazarian were the first ever AEW Tag Team Champions when they were in a group called So Cal Uncensored aka SCU.

In addition to that, Sky is also a two-time TNT Champion in All Elite Wrestling as well.

While Sky remains under contract, he has been away from television for nearly one year. This is the second lengthy absence for Sky in AEW since he was out of action in July 2022 and didn’t come back until a full year later.

On the AEW Rampage that aired on August 16th, Scorpio Sky was featured in a backstage segment where he appeared outside of a party hosted by Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen.

During the segment, Scorpio Sky said that he had some “serious business” to discuss with Private Party. Initially, Sky was told he couldn’t join the party, but then Kassidy & Quen showed up and allowed Sky to enter the party.

This could lead to Sky being aligned with Private Party perhaps as a mentor to the younger wrestlers.

When Was Scorpio Sky’s Last AEW Match?

The last three matches that Sky had were on the ROH brand since Tony Khan owns ROH as well as AEW and uses wrestlers on both shows.

Regarding AEW shows, the last time Sky was in an AEW match was the September 16, 2023 edition of Collision when he lost to Andrade in a singles match.
