Missing AEW Star To Be Back On The Road Soon

A major AEW star that has not been seen on television for several months has confirmed that they will soon be back on the road for the company.

Thunder Rosa hasn’t been seen on AEW television since just before All Out when she announced that she would be stepping away from competition due to injury. Instead of her planned match with Rosa at All Out, Toni Storm was crowned the Interim AEW Women’s Champion in a fatal four-way match and reigned until losing the title to Jamie Hayter at Full Gear.

The Wednesday after Full Gear saw an announcement on Dynamite that despite saying she would return “soon” back in November, Thunder Rosa was being stripped of the title due to the severity of her injury, and both Storm and Hayter’s reigns would now be considered in the lineage of the AEW Women’s Championship instead of being in the history books as interim reigns.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa has now given an update on her status and says she hopes to be back on the road soon, but might not be getting in the ring right away:

“Since we’re talking about AEW, I’m probably going to be coming back on the road pretty soon. Not to wrestle, but we’re going to be out at AEW and showing face and being around all this stuff. It’s going to be nice to be around everyone and see how things unfold.”

Since Thunder Rosa’s absence from television, Saraya has joined the company and Rosa’s short-lived ThunderStorm partner Toni Storm has allied herself with the English star as they appear to be waging war against the promotion’s homegrown talent.
