Mick Foley Had Specific Request When Signing Most Recent WWE Legends Deal

Mick Foley

Mick Foley has explained how he had a specific request that he made to WWE before he signed his most recent Legends Deal.

During his legendary WWE career that started in 1996, Mick Foley began his run as Mankind. It was a character that dressed in brown attire along with a mask and he used a Mandible Claw finisher that saw him put his fingers into the throats of his opponent until he beat them by submission.

After his initial heel run as Mick Foley, we got to see a different side of him when we were introduced to Dude Love. It was a Mick Foley character similar to Shawn Michaels as a heartthrob that the fans would adore. Most of us probably remember the legendary look and theme music of Dude Love.

There was also Cactus Jack, who made his way to WWE because that was the character Mick Foley portrayed in WCW and ECW before he joined WWE. The Cactus side of the character was more of a wild side of Foley, who was known for competing in legendary hardcore matches.

The 1998 Royal Rumble match was a big one for Foley as he competed three different times representing the Three Faces of Foley. Cactus Jack was #1 in that match, Mankind was in the middle of the match at #16 and then Dude Love was #28 in the Rumble as well.

As a WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Mick Foley has signed a Legends Deal with WWE for the company to continue to use his likeness for merchandise, video games and things like that.

At San Diego Comic Con’s Mattel panel, the Three Faces of Foley WWE Elite set was revealed. Foley was excited about it.

“I have actively wished for this and hoped for it. I even drew a line in the sand when it came to my Legends Deal. I told my manager, ‘I’m not re-signing another Legends Deal unless I have a guarantee that they are doing some type of three faces of Foley thing.’ I guess I don’t need to worry about that now. This is really great.”
