Mercedes Mone To Work With WWE Legend?

Mercedes Mone AEW

Mercedes Mone is taking over.

After beating Jody Threat for the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship, Mercedes Mone is now in possession of a remarkable 12 championship belts. That victory also took her past the record previously held by Ultimo Dragon.

Next up for Mone is a clash with Kris Statlander at Full Gear for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Should Mone win on November 22, she’ll hold both of AEW’s major singles women’s titles as well as being the most recent winner of the women’s Owen Hart Cup.

However, another championship with links to WWE could also be on he horizon.

WWE Hall Of Famer Reaches Out To Mercedes Mone

On the latest episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, NXT announcer Booker T was asked whether he’d work with Mone on a card for his Reality of Wrestling Promotion. Perhaps surprisingly, the veteran said he’d have no problem with her taking the Reality of Wrestling Diamonds Championship.

“Yeah, hell yeah. Thinking about it. She wants to come to Reality of Wrestling. Drop me a line, shoot. We’ll get you in. You know what? I mean? We’ll put the title on you. Let’s just call it right now…..Mone wants the Reality of Wrestling Titles. Come on down here and get them. No problem. I’ll sign it right now.”

A recent report has broken down why there’s no chance Mercedes Mone will be losing while competing for an indie promotion. According to the report, promoters are well aware that AEW wouldn’t be impressed with Mone taking a loss outside of the company, especially as she’s only lost once since joining the promotion.

The report reiterated that Mone is a “certified draw” for any indie promotion she appears in, despite some comments on social media.
