Mercedes Mone Lists Favourite Matches As She Hits Major Milestone

Mercedes Mone will be celebrating on Dynamite.

On July 2, AEW will celebrate the 300th episode of its flagship show, Dynamite, in Ontario, Canada. The first-ever edition of the show was broadcast on October 2, 2019.

As it turns out, the episode will be something of a double celebration as Mercedes Mone wrestles in the 1000th match of her already illustrious career. On the show, Mone will put her TBS Championship on the line against Mina Shirakawa.

For those keeping score, Mone wrestled her first match on August 8, 2010, when she teamed with IVY to defeat Ariel and Sammi Lane under the name Mercedes VK.

The match comes as Mercedes Mone continues her rivalry with “Timeless” Toni Storm. The pair is set to meet at All in with the Women’s World Championship on the line.

Mercedes Mone Prepares To Celebrate Match 1000

To celebrate the milestone, a fan on social media asked others to comment with their favourite matches featuring the star, and the woman herself even decided to get in on the action.

Mone’s list began with her famous clash with Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn back in 2015 before taking in her subsequent run through Stardom, NJPW, and AEW.
