Mercedes Mone Announces Fan Texting Service

Mercedes Mone AEW

Fans of Mercedes Mone will be able to text her just as long as they’re willing to pay a monthly fee.

Mercedes Mone has had a successful career in pro wrestling, from her decade-long run in WWE as Sasha Banks to her over-a-year run in AEW as Mone. She’s still in her early 30s, too, so she has a lot of years ahead of her.

During her AEW run, Mone was the TBS Champion for nearly one year and is undefeated in singles matches. She also holds the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship and RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

As a way to interact with her loyal fans (even though she’s a heel in AEW), Mone has announced a texting service on her website for $99.99 monthly.

“My super fans have always been my super friends. Now, like friends, they can text me directly and privately. I’m so excited to finally be able to connect this way. Sign up and text me now!” – Mercedes

Mercedes Money Enjoyed Facing Athena On AEW Dynamite

In the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Mercedes Mone has reached the finals. She will face Jamie Hayter at the Double or Nothing PPV on May 24th. Whoever wins that match will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Title, currently held by Toni Storm, at AEW All In Texas on July 12th.

During the tournament’s semifinals, Mercedes Mone defeated ROH Women’s Champion Athena at AEW Dynamite’s Spring BreakThru episode. Writing in her Mone Mag, Mercedes talked about what it was like facing Athena and how proud she was of the match.

“Just over a year ago, I made my AEW debut at TD Garden, and returning now feels like a full-circle moment. This time, I stepped into the ring with a new vibe, a new energy, and a fierce determination that can only come from growth and experience.

Facing Athena was not just a match, but a dream come true. I’ve admired her since our indie days—her creativity and innovation in the ring are truly unmatched.”

Mercedes Mone also recalled when Athena signed with WWE NXT in 2015. In WWE, Athena was known as Ember Moon.

“I still remember the excitement when Sara Del Rey told me Athena had signed to NXT. I was eager to one day share the ring with her, and finally, that dream became a reality at this incredible event. Let me tell you, this match was one for the books!

Athena is a powerhouse, and after stepping back from the curtain, all I could think was, wow! Imagine the incredible stories we could tell if we had a pay-per-view match together. That’s something I can’t wait to build towards in the future.”

Considering how good their Dynamite match was, it makes sense for AEW to have Mone face Athena at a future PPV event. If fans want to tell Mercedes Mone how much they loved that match with Athena, they can do so by texting Mone for $99.99 monthly.
