Matt Riddle’s WWE Raw Return Date Set
It would seem that Matt Riddle is set to return to WWE programming sooner rather than later, with a possible date reported.
Matt Riddle was missing from the most recent edition of Monday Night Raw due to what was being reported as a “medical issue”. In recent weeks he had been teaming with Drew McIntyre and that had been expected to continue until he was pulled.
However, there was also an accusation by Riddle that he was the subject of sexual harassment from an officer whilst travelling through JFK airport. The accusation was made on in Instagram post which was later deleted.
It has been noted that there has been an internal investigation over the allegation, whilst WWE has declined to comment on what happened at this stage.
Riddle Set For Red Brand Return
In a new report from Mike Johnson at Pro Wrestling Insider, Matt Riddle is seemingly set to make his return to WWE programming on the 18th September edition of Monday Night Raw.
On that show, Drew McIntyre is set to be in action when he takes on Jey Uso. Assuming that they continue with the storyline which was in place earlier this month, you’d expect Riddle to be involved in the contest in some way.
There had been some speculation over the last few months that Drew McIntyre’s contract could be up for renewal, fuelling speculation about potential move to AEW. The former title holder recently addressed the speculation when it comes to his future with WWE.
