Mandy Rose Suggests What A WWE Return Could Look Like
The former Toxic Attraction leader Mandy Rose is reflecting on her WWE past as well as what she could do if she ever came back.
Mandy Rose is a former WWE NXT Women’s Champion who was fired by the company in December 2022. Rose had a 413-day reign as the NXT Women’s Champion, which is the third longest of all time.
The reason Mandy Rose was released by WWE is because she had a fan subscription site with explicit content on it, which the company didn’t like, so they fired her one day after losing the NXT Women’s Title to Roxanne Perez.
Since being let go by WWE, Mandy has made appearances all over the world, but she hasn’t had a match since leaving WWE.
On September 4th, Mandy will take part in a Wrestler’s Combine event. The event is being held by Black Label Pro in conjunction with Paragon Talent Agency (which is run in part by former WWE superstar Mojo Rawley) and DraftKings. At the event, Mandy will compete with Jordynne Grace, Xia Zhao (Xia Lia), and Ash By Elegance (Dana Brooke) in the combine. Mandy uses the name “Mandy Sacs” professionally since it’s short for her real last name Saccomanno.
In an interview with SEScoops, Mandy was asked if the Wrestler’s Combine event could get her thinking about being a pro wrestler again.
“For sure. I think this event specifically will kind of light up a spark. I’ve done a lot of appearances, autograph signings, and stuff like that, but I haven’t done in-ring appearances. I’m not going to say exactly how all this will go down because we’re going to keep some stuff a surprise. I’m definitely excited for this in-ring appearance. It has definitely created some buzz out there. I think a lot of people are wanting a Mandy Rose comeback. So we shall see what I feel like after this Wrestler’s Combine.”
“Time has flown by. I’ve been blessed with a lot of amazing opportunities during this time. A lot of things have happened in my life. Triumph and tragedy, there have been a lot of lows and highs. I think that’s with everyone, but through it all, I think I’ve learned a lot and evolved a lot as a woman, and am proud and blessed. I practice gratitude every day. I think that’s really important. When one door closes, another opens. I think everything is meant to be. I think if there is a wrestling comeback for me in the future, we shall see.”
What Would Mandy Rose Want To Do If She Returned To WWE?
In WWE, Rose started out on Tough Enough in 2015 and then was a regular in NXT. After that, she had runs on the main roster on Raw & Smackdown. She was put back on NXT in 2021, which led to her long reign as NXT Women’s Champion. If she were to go back to WWE, Mandy thinks a bigger opportunity on Raw or Smackdown is something she would like to do.
“I would say making that statement, whether it was on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. I did make such a big statement in NXT, I think it was my time to then get to Monday or Friday or do it on the big screen. NXT’s great, and it’s so amazing what they’ve built. But obviously, the end goal is to be in front of thousands and thousands of people and big crowds and on TV every week, which I was with NXT, but it was just a smaller situation.”
“But I think that would be the ultimate goal if I wanted to get back. Whether or not it’s with a group or it’s not and I’m by myself, I think that new Mandy Rose mentality of not really giving a damn and going out there and kicking butt, I think that would be pretty cool, an edgier Mandy.”
With that said, it’s not known if WWE would want to bring Mandy back and if they did, she could have to close her fan-subscription website.
Despite being gone from WWE, Mandy Rose has made it clear in the past that she is doing very well as a model with on adult fan-subscription websites and has said she is making “life-changing money” as well.
Mandy is also getting married to former WWE NXT wrestler Tino Sabbatelli this November. The couple can be heard on their Power Alphas podcast regularly.
