Mandy Rose Talks Future Plans – “I Want To Have Kids”
Mandy Rose has opened up about her future in wrestling and also out of wrestling because she has said she wants to have kids some day.
As the NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose has dominated as the leader of Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne by her side. Rose won the championship from Raquel Gonzalez (now Rodriguez) at the Halloween Havoc episode of NXT on October 26, 2021 . Recently, Rose celebrated one year as the champion as she approaches nearly 400 days holding the gold.
Rose started her WWE journey on the 2015 edition of the reality series Tough Enough. Even though Rose was the runner-up among the women’s contestants, she was signed to a WWE contract and became part of NXT soon after that. During her career, she competed regularly on Raw & Smackdown as well before moving back to NXT in 2021.
In September 2022, Rose announced on social media that she was engaged to former NXT wrestler Tino Sabbatelli, who she dated for several years after meeting while they were both training for WWE at the same time.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight Youtube channel, Rose talked about wanting to start her family some day, which could lead to her wrestling less often in the future.
“I do [think about life after wrestling]. Yeah, I always do. I mean, I’m 32, I’m not young, I mean I’m young but, you know, I wanna have kids one day, so it’s not like I’m gonna do this for, you know. And I would love to do it for however long I can do it, even after kids, you know, maybe. But I do try to think about that.”
As she continued, Rose also spoke about her Damandyz Donuts business that she runs with fellow WWE superstar (and Tough Enough alum) Sonya Deville.
“I do try to set myself up and that’s why I have Damandyz Donuts brand, I have my Amarose skincare line. And I’m just really trying to focus on those kind of brands where I can work from home, I can, if I do, you know, wanna have kids one day and have that family life, I wanna make it easy for me. I wanna be able to do the things I love but also, you know, still be able to be a mom at the same time.”
