Mandy Rose Addresses Recent NXT Look Similar To Nikki Bella
Mandy Rose has reacted to claims that some people might be “stole” Nikki Bella’s look during a recent NXT Women’s Title defense.
As the NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose has been dominant with a title reign that has lasted nearly 400 days since she won the title in October 2021. On the November 15th edition of NXT, Rose had a tough test when she faced Alba Fyre in a Last Woman Standing match for the NXT Women’s Title. Rose got the win after Isla Dawn showed up out of nowhere and shoved Fyre off a ladder and through a table to give Rose win.
While the match main evented that NXT episode, what some people would rather talk about was Rose’s look. For her entrance, Rose wore a backward baseball cap on her head. It led people to wonder if Rose was cosplaying as WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who used the look for years, especially when she was the Divas Champion.
After seeing Mandy’s introduction walk, Nikki’s @BellaTwins tweeted this reaction to it without any words.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on his “INSIGHT” podcast, Rose said she knew that fans were going to talk about the look being similar to Nikki Bella.
“Oh gosh I knew. Can’t even wear my own merch hat, and it’s a big thing. But no, I definitely — I mean, when I had the whole outfit on, backstage obviously, we were all saying it. And then I was like, ‘Okay, do I look way too much like Nikki right now? Like, I’m definitely going to get ripped on the internet. But everyone was like, ‘Yeah, who cares? You’re owning to her legacy, right?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, why not?’ So, yeah, and that’s what happened. We knew the internet was going to go there.”
Rose also went on to talk about how perhaps it could lead to a potential match with Nikki while also talking about similar backgrounds in modeling before becoming WWE superstars.
“Right? That’s what I said. And then afterwards I mean, I don’t know. I’m just saying, she did say she wants one more match so, I don’t know! And I feel like also, even my promo the other night, her legacy and just like everything I’ve done. We have a little bit of similar backgrounds in a sense. Because she’s obviously paved the way for us, definitely during the Divas time and the Women’s Revolution and all that.”
“So it’s like, I feel like there’s some kind of similarity with the both of us. Because she was always one to be like, she wants to have people respect her more, and she she did gain that respect over the years. But in the beginning it wasn’t maybe so much like that. So I feel like there is a little story there.”
During the interview, Mandy Rose also talked about some obvious comparisons between her career and Trish Stratus as well.
