Major WWE Faction May Cost John Cena Intercontinental Title
John Cena’s retirement has been a highly publicized event.
Since he made the announcement at last year’s WWE Money in the Bank PLE, the company’s creative team got to work to make it memorable for not only Cena, but also the wrestling fans.
While some storylines landed, others did not.
Now, with three appearances left for him, the promotion put the Intercontinental Championship on him.
Sam Roberts of Notsam Wrestling discussed the next steps for the 17-time world champion, predicting an Ilja Dragunov-like tournament on RAW.
He spoke about Cena losing the title through The Vision’s interference, resulting in him joining WarGames.
Maybe The Vision cost John Cena the title on Monday Night RAW, and he joins CM Punk’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. I guess that’s possible. I thought in the beginning that John Cena would be a shoo-in for WarGames, but now, as we have gotten closer, I’m kind of further away from that idea. [16:20 onwards]
WWE Manager Talks Bringing Logan Paul And The Vision Together
The New York Post had an entire article dedicated to Logan Paul attacking CM Punk on last week’s RAW and potentially joining The Vision.
Legendary WWE manager Paul Heyman quoted the article and added to the title, claiming that the faction had already struck gold by bringing the former Intercontinental Champion into the mix.
The Oracle likened Paul’s trait of disrupting multiple industries to his own.
@WWE strikes gold every single solitary time #PaulHeyman (@HeymanHustle) is involved in anything … ANYTHING!!!
@LoganPaul has a proven track record of disrupting multi-industries (as do I).
GOLD, one would suggest, has ALREADY been struck!
Meanwhile, a WarGames match was finalized between The Vision and CM Punk’s team, with three members on each side confirmed thus far.
The upcoming tapings before November 29 will decide the remaining four members.
