A recent update about Naomi has emerged after she missed the latest RAW taping.

The 37-year-old star was scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky in the main event at Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Quebec.

However, her match was pulled from the card, with officials announcing that she was not medically cleared to wrestle.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that she was present at the event before the taping.

This puts other reports stating that she missed the entire show to rest. Although it is believed that her injury is legitimate, the details of which WWE has yet to reveal to the roster.

As a result, WWE pivoted the storyline to Iyo Sky challenging Roxanne Perez in a singles match after the latter got into her face backstage.

In an entertaining contest, Perez managed to sneak a victory after a failed interference attempt from the Kabuki Warriors duo of Asuka and Kairi Sane.

Will WWE Strip Naomi Of Her Title?

Naomi is scheduled to defend her championship against Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Clash in Paris.

During a backstage segment between Vaquer and Sky on RAW, the commentators referenced Naomi’s injury, claiming that her title defense could be in jeopardy.

That said, the extent of the injury remains unknown at this moment, and WWE will not ask her to relinquish the title until injury becomes a hindrance.

Naomi won the title at the all-women’s Evolution PLE after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract.

At SummerSlam, she successfully defended the belt in a triple threat match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley after pinning the latter.
