Major Free Agent Claims They’ve Signed With WWE

Could Roman Reigns be about to get even more backup at WWE WrestleMania?

After months of speculation it’s been reported that Jacob Fatu has signed with WWE. According to a report from Fightful Select, Fatu told people that as of April 3rd he’s signed with the sports entertainment giant. This led to him being pulled from a planned appearance with GCW on April 6th.

Sean Ross Sapp reached out to WWE for comment but the company refused to confirm the claims. Fatu is a cousin of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and The Usos.

Fatu began his career in 2012 and moved to MLW in 2019. It was with Court Bauer’s promotion that he enjoyed most success, but he became a free agent in February 2024.

Speaking back in September, Jacob Fatu said he would love to find his way to WWE.

The news has sparked speculation that Fatu could feature in the main event of WrestleMania XL as Roman Reigns takes on Cody Rhodes. Due to Reigns’ victory alongside The Rock on night one, the match will be contested under Bloodline Rules.

Another Free Agent Also WWE-Bound

News of Jacob Fatu’s signing comes a day after Giulia was shown in the crowd watching NXT Stand & Deliver. The former STADRDOM star was shown alongside William Regal and Rossy Ogawa and seemed genuinely moved as the packed house cheered her to the rafters.

It’s believed that Giulia will start with WWE when she’s finished up obligations to Ogawa who is launching his own promotion after leaving STARDOM.

The appearance from Giulia came just after Ava announced the creation of the Women’s North American Championship.
