WWE is set to make a popular change to WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 40 is set to take place across April 6th and 7th at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, and with the Royal Rumble done and dusted, attention is slowly turning to the spectacular.

The event has become more fan-friendly in recent years with WWE adopting a two-day format, making the event much easier for those in attendance and watching at home, and another tweak to the schedule is on the way.

It’s been reported by Wrestle Votes that both nights of the event will begin at 7 pm EST. For fans based in the United Kingdom, that means the action will get underway at midnight rather than 1 am.

Source states WWE has made the decision to change the WrestleMania start time. The main card will now begin at 7pm EST, presumably with a kickoff show starting at 5pm EST. This will be for both nights of WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns Vs. Cody Rhodes Still Planned For WWE WrestleMania

After Bayley and Cody Rhodes won the women’s and men’s Royal Rumble matches respectively, fans immediately began fantasy booking WrestleMania. While it’s believed that Bayley will challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Title, there’s been much more speculation around Rhodes.

Although he’s been linked with a rematch with Roman Reigns since WrestleMania 39, the looming presence of The Rock has led some to question whether he will have to step aside. However, as reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is still for Rhodes to “finish the story.”
