Logan Paul Responds To Boxing Return Rumours

Logan Paul

Logan Paul has dismissed rumours of an imminent return to the boxing ring.

The 29 year-old YouTube sensation and entrepreneur has earned plaudits from fans and fellow wrestlers for his performances in a WWE ring since debuting at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

A string of impressive performances have followed, including battles with top Superstars such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, but rumours have continued to circle around a potential return to the boxing ring.

Paul last fought in Manchester, England on 14th October 2023, defeating Dillon Danis by disqualification. Prior to that, the Ohio born star had squared off twice with rival turned business partner KSI as well as competing in an exhibition bout with boxing legend Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.

Speaking to Fred Talks Fighting after his brother Jake eased to a sixth round stoppage win over former UFC star Mike Perry at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on 20th July, the current WWE United States Champion insisted that he was happy competing in WWE had had no current intention on returning to the boxing ring:

“We’ll see, bro. I’ll only hop back in the ring with a fight that excites me. I don’t have that desire to. No, I felt like I did the Floyd (Mayweather) thing. You know, I need to be inspired by the dance part.

I got a good thing going on in the WWE, bro. I’m the United States champion, and I’m much better at wrestling than I am at boxing.”
