Logan Paul’s Reaction To Teaming With John Cena In WWE
Logan Paul is pleased about being the tag team partner of John Cena at WWE Money in the Bank.
In the main event of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Jey Uso defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul. After Jey Uso hit an Uso Splash, he covered Paul, and that’s when the WWE Champion John Cena showed up to pull the referee out of the ring.
Thankfully for Jey, Cody Rhodes was there to have his back. Cody went into the ring and took care of Cena with a Cross Rhodes. Paul tried to attack Cody with brass knuckles, but Cody avoided that, and Jey hit a Spear on Paul. Jey went up top and hit an Uso Splash for the pinfall win.
After the match, Cody challenged Cena and Paul to a tag team match against Cody and Jey at Money in the Bank on June 7th in Los Angeles. The match was made official.
Logan Paul posted a vlog on his YouTube channel, showing him after the Saturday Night’s Main Event match. At that point, Paul was informed about what Cody said in the ring and how it would be a tag team match at Money in the Bank.
“Versus me and John Cena? Holy f**king s**t. I’m going to be tag team partners with the GOAT in his retirement year? Bro, that’s insane. That’s f’n insane.”
Clearly, Paul is excited to be tagging up with the Greatest of All Time, John Cena.
Logan Paul Fires Back At His WWE Critics
In the same vlog, Logan Paul delivered a message for his haters who don’t seem to like his position as a main event performer in WWE.
“It’s my understanding that some of my peers are not happy that I get these shots so quickly in my career. Let me break it down for you.
In your simple brains, do you think I’m here because I go viral? You see the numbers and you think that’s why I’m here. No. The reason that I’m here, the reason that I’m given these opportunities so early in my career is a) because I’m fantastic, but b) because I’ve been getting those impressions for a decade now.
And with those impressions comes an audience, a fanbase, eyeballs. That’s why I’m here. Because people watch what I do. They care what I do.
Whether they’re on my team, they want me to win, whether they’re waiting for me to fail – doesn’t matter, they’re watching, and that’s the currency: Attention. So my question would be, for the people who have a problem with my position in the WWE – who’s watching you?”
