Logan Paul Breaks Character After WWE SummerSlam Loss

Logan Paul

Logan Paul has given a candid assessment of his SummerSlam appearance after losing his WWE United States Championship to LA Knight.

At SummerSlam, Logan Paul proved to be possibly the least popular hometown hero in wrestling history as he was booed to the ring in Cleveland where he was accompanied by Cleveland rap star MGK.

Knight and Paul brawled before the match even officially got underway with LA Knight dropping Paul with a neckbreaker on the announce table. The match proved to be a hard-fought contest with Knight surviving a wicked right hand from the champion. Paul was given brass knucks from MGK but even that couldn’t keep LA Knight down as he nailed Paul with his BFT to capture his first official championship in WWE and end the reign of terror of Logan Paul.

Logan Paul Reflects On SummerSlam Dream

Taking to social media, Logan Paul broke character to reflect on his time as US Champion and getting to compete in a stadium that played a big part in his childhood:

279 days as United States Champion, the 3rd longest US Title reign in WWE history. I really gave it my all in my hometown, it was a dream performing at the stadium where I grew up watching the Browns play SummerSlam 2024 was a fkn BANGER all the way through… I’m so honored to be a part of this great company @WWE

Congratulations @RealLAKnight, I’ll be in touch about my broken truck

Roman Reigns is back

In WWE history only Dean Ambrose and MVP have held the United States Championship longer than Logan Paul. However, the title began its life in the NWA and WCW and Lex Luger, Rick Rude, Nikita Koloff, and Barry Windham have all held the title for longer than Paul moving him into 7th place on the list for overall longest reign.
