Logan Paul Is Better Than Everybody In AEW, Says Ex-WWE Star
Logan Paul officially kicked off his wrestling career with his WWE debut on April 2, 2021.
He first appeared as a guest on SmackDown alongside Sami Zayn, then made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022. Teaming up with The Miz, Logan helped defeat Rey and Dominik Mysterio, earning praise for his performance in his first match.
After signing a multi-year contract with WWE in June 2022, The Maverick quickly moved up the ranks. He battled some of the biggest names like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns without having extensive experience or any pro wrestling training background, but still managed to deliver an A-grade performance inside the squared circle.
A big moment in his career came on November 4, 2023, at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, when he won his first championship, the WWE United States Title, by defeating Rey Mysterio. He held the title for 273 days, defending it against stars like Kevin Owens and Austin Theory. He eventually lost the title to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024.
Logan Paul Is Talented And “Athletic”: Stevie Richards
Logan Paul has blended his social media charisma with athleticism, turning skeptics into fans and proving why he belongs inside the ring. He continues to be a major part of WWE’s storytelling and was introduced as one of the competitors in the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames match.
Ex-WWE star Stevie Richards acknowledged Paul’s recent work on his podcast. He praised The Maverick and claimed that he’s better than anybody in AEW.
Logan Paul is better than everybody in AEW. [John Moxley?] Yes. [Darby Allin?] Yes. [Will Ospreay?] Yes. [Swerve Strickland?] Yes. [Kenny Omega?] Yes. [Young Bucks?] Yes. [Why? There are some big names there. Why is Logan Paul better than them?] Because, he’s a character. I get that I can hate or love Logan Paul, and he’s every bit as athletic as all of them. He’s proven it. (From 7:22)
