Liv Morgan’s momentum was briefly interrupted by an injury she suffered on June 16, 2025, during an episode of Monday Night RAW in a match against Kairi Sane. Early in the match, she tripped and awkwardly landed on her arm, suffering a dislocated shoulder.

The injury sidelined her for several weeks, during which time Roxanne Perez was brought in to take Morgan’s spot in The Judgment Day faction. This led to fan speculation that Perez might have taken Morgan’s place not only in the group but also in Dominik Mysterio’s affections.

However, Morgan has firmly shut down these rumors with a bold statement, expressing that their relationship remains strong despite her absence.

On X (formerly Twitter), Liv Morgan reacted to a WWE 2K25 post featuring her and Dirty Dominik Mysterio as the game’s popular intergender tag team. She expressed surprise that anyone would find this noteworthy, calling them the “hottest” duo who have influenced many WWE fans globally.

Well… we are the hottest, most iconic, most influential, greatest couple in the history of WWE .. what did you expect,” she tweeted.

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio remain strong as a couple, maintaining a close relationship despite Morgan’s injury absence. Speaking on The Wrestling Classic podcast, Dominik Mysterio, while staying in character, confirmed that he and Liv are on excellent terms and stay in frequent contact. He mentioned they spoke just before his SummerSlam title defense against AJ Styles.

Liv Morgan was set for a medical evaluation to determine the next steps for her injury recovery, leading fans to speculate that she might return to RAW on August 11, but she was a no-show. On the August 4 edition of WWE’s flagship show, Finn Balor, during a backstage interview with Byron Saxton, stated that Liv Morgan is expected to return after six to eight weeks. WWE is hopeful that Morgan will return in early 2026.
