Lex Luger Expresses Hope For Future Induction Into WWE Hall Of Fame
Former WWE Superstar Lex Luger expressed his optimism regarding a potential induction into the WWE Hall of Fame during a recent interview on Busted Open Radio. Despite not yet receiving the honour, Luger remains hopeful about his future recognition in the wrestling industry.
Luger, a former WCW Champion, enjoyed a lengthy career in both WCW and WWE. He is perhaps best known for his dramatic defection to WCW during the inaugural episode of WCW Monday Nitro in September 1995, a move that surprised WWE officials. When asked about his Hall of Fame prospects, Luger conveyed a positive outlook.
Oh, I’d love to be [inducted into the HOF]. Absolutely, I’m very optimistic.
Luger said believes that WWE has a unique selection process that may not be fully understood by the public, suggesting that there might be a method behind what seems like randomness.
I just think they have a way of doing it that I don’t think any of us are fully aware of. The formula, timing, all that. I’d like to think that there’s a method to their madness.
Throughout his wrestling career, Luger has faced numerous challenges, but his resilience and dedication to the sport have kept him in the spotlight. As fans and peers alike await his potential induction, there is little doubt that Lex Luger’s contributions to professional wrestling will eventually earn him a well-deserved place among the legends of the industry.
