Length Of CM Punk’s WWE World Title Reign Predicted
CM Punk fulfilled his desire to reclaim the lost World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
At SNME, he challenged Jey Uso for the vacant title and won by hitting a couple of GTS for the pinfall.
This is only the second time that the 47-year-old has held the World Heavyweight Title; his first time was at SummerSlam, where he defeated Gunther.
However, five minutes into his celebration, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to take the title away from him.
This time around, though, there were no sneaky cash-ins, allowing The Second City Saints to keep the belt for an extended duration.
Former WWE employee Jonathan Coachman predicted CM Punk’s world title reign during the latest episode of The Coach & Bro podcast.
They give CM Punk, at 46 years of age, the World Heavyweight Championship. And so, now, how long will he keep it? Well, you’re not gonna take it off of him in a month. So, I would assume that CM Punk’s gonna carry this company all the way up to WrestleMania. [38:49 onwards]
CM Punk Taken Out On WWE RAW
What was supposed to be a celebratory night for CM Punk became a forgettable one for the newly crowned champion.
After a verbal confrontation with Logan Paul and The Vision, Punk teamed up with Jey Uso in the main event on RAW to face Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Earlier in the night, Breakker and Reed attacked Paul after he stuck his nose in their business.
Meanwhile, the main event ended in a double countout, as the four men continued to brawl outside the ring.
Watching Punk get overpowered, Logan Paul came to his aid. However, instead of attacking The Vision members, he knocked out Punk with a punch to his face, seemingly confirming his entry into the faction.
