Latest On Brock Lesnar’s Possible WWE Exit

Brock Lesnar WWE

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE after eight years away from the company in 2012 and now more than a decade later, Lesnar’s time in the company looks closer to the end than ever.

Brock Lesnar will be part of WrestleMania 39 where he will take on the giant Omos in a match that left more than a few people raising their eyebrows. It is believed that Lesnar agreed to the match after nixing an originally planned feud against Bray Wyatt.

Now Dave Meltzer has noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar’s future is under wraps but should he suffer a big loss to Omos as he did to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36, it could signal that he will be gone:

“Regarding rumors of Lesnar. There were reports Lesnar had told people he’d be leaving soon and within the company the word had circulated. The only thing we know is that everything about Lesnar and what he’s doing is kept top secret and that Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, Paul Levesque know and maybe two others know and nobody else does.

“The last time Lesnar left for an extended period was when he put over McIntyre as big and as clean as he possibly could, so if there is a finish similar to that, that would be the m.o.”

Lesnar lost the WWE Championship to McIntyre in 2020 and then did not compete in a WWE ring for 20 months although his prolonged absence could have been down to the pandemic that forced him to compete at WrestleMania 36 in front of no fans.
