LA Knight Had Unique Idea For WWE Stable

LA Knight US Champion WWE YEah

LA Knight has shared an idea he once had for a WWE stable when he was a part of NXT.

For most of his WWE career, LA Knight has been on his own as one of the strongest talkers in the company and a former US Champion.

There was a time when he was re-packaged as Max Dupri and he was with the Maximum Male Models group, but we know that didn’t last very long since Triple H took over the creative team from Vince McMahon and that was the end of Max.

While speaking to WittyWhitter in a recent interview, LA Knight revealed a stable idea he had when he was in NXT.

“I had thought about this before, actually. I pitched this a few years ago, where I was like, I kind of want guys who are almost downtrodden, who have a lot of potential, but haven’t really been used necessarily to the top of the potential.

I don’t know who those would be now, I think I had names years ago when I was in NXT because I almost wanted to have this… you could say cult. But I was almost thinking of, this was back thinking about like The Walking Dead, like The Saviors or something. One guy at the front, and then there’s a lot of guys who are just like, ‘all right, wait, this guy is going to be able to get me what I want. I will do anything for him.’ Kind of an idea.

As he continued, LA Knight also suggested a super babyface kind of stable although this comment may have been a bit more sarcastic.

“Other than that, I haven’t really put much thought into it, but I mean, if you were going to do like a big three, Miami Heat LeBron super team or something like that, you know, probably, I don’t know, me and Cody and Roman or something.”

LA Knight Looking To Get Back On Winning Track

The United States Title was the first singles title that LA Knight won in WWE. However, he lost the title to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series and it’s not known if he’ll get another shot at the title.

LA Knight also lost his last televised match of 2024 when he teamed with Andrade and Apollo Crews in a losing effort against The Bloodline.

As we head into the new year, the confident former US Champion will do his best to get back to his winning ways.
