LA Knight Chooses Four Wrestlers As The Greatest Of All Time

LA Knight WWE US Champion

LA Knight has four names in mind that he believes are among the greatest pro wrestlers of all time.

It’s never easy for any fan of pro wrestling to name the greatest pro wrestler of all time. Whether it’s a “Mount Rushmore” list of four people or choosing just one, it’s a difficult task due to all the variables that exist.

There might be a wrestler who was great in the ring, but perhaps they weren’t strong on the microphone. Others are huge draws in the ring, yet their runs at the top may not have been as long as other main event performers.

While LA Knight is still building his resume as a popular WWE superstar, the US Champion appeared on Booker T’s Hallof Fame podcast when he asked to try to name the greatest pro wrestler of all time. Instead, Knight came up with four names.

“I can’t name one. For me it’s always been four — four who kind of tie for it. So it’s going to be Austin, Rock, Hogan and Flair.”

“Let go of whatever all the personal outside stuff is because for me, I don’t agree with a lot of the stuff that the latter two have been doing as far as the craziness in their personal lives, but from a professional level as performers in the ring and in this business, Austin, Rock, Flair, Hogan, 100% hands down.”

Those choices by LA Knight likely won’t surprise some people since some people have compared his promo style to The Rock and he certainly has some “Stone Cold” Steve Austin similarities as well. That doesn’t mean he is copying them, but he was clearly inspired by them when he was a younger wrestling fan.

LA Knight Defending United States Championship On WWE SmackDown

After winning the United States Championship for the first time at WWE SummerSlam, LA Knight made it clear that he was going to be a fighting champion.

On the September 20th edition of Smackdown from Sacramento, Knight will put his US Title on the line against Andrade, who has held the US Title in the past.
