Kurt Angle Calls WWE Hall Of Famer “The Best Of All Time”
Many people have called Kurt Angle the greatest professional wrestler of all time, but the Olympic Gold Medalist strongly believes that someone else deserves that title instead.
Kurt Angle’s pro wrestling career spanned about two decades. In that time, he has wrestled some of the biggest, most successful, and most accomplished competitors to ever step into the squared circle.
The list of people Angle has faced includes: Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan, Mankind, Samoa Joe, John Cena, and many more.
But to Angle, none of those wrestlers deserves to be called the best. On an episode of his Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle explained why Shawn Michaels is the one that deserves that honor above everyone else.
“All I could say about him is he’s the best of all time. He has had incredible chemistry with every wrestler he’s ever wrestled. I had incredible chemistry with him. I enjoyed working with him every single time and he was so easy to work with.
And for him to go 35 years is just unbelievable. I mean, you’re talking 70% of his life he’s been involved with the WWE, that that is something that hardly, hardly ever happens.”
On that same episode, Kurt Angle also touched on his ‘wrestling machine’ gimmick and why he prefers being in the opening match instead of in the main-event.
