Kurt Angle Discusses Leadership Style Of Triple H And Vince McMahon
Kurt Angle is a man who certainly knows both Triple H and Vince McMahon well, and has spotted the similarities in how they like to run WWE.
There were wholesale changes at the top of WWE when Vince McMahon announced that he was retiring from the company on 22nd July 2022. His daughter Stephanie McMahon was swiftly installed as interim CEO, and has since taken on senior responsibilities for the company alongside Nick Khan. In addition, Triple H was brought in and has since been given the title of Chief Content Officer.
It has been noticed by WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle that the way Triple H has built a team around him can be likened to the way Vince McMahon liked things done. On his Kurt Angle Show, the former World Champion discussed how ‘The Game’ has put his team together.
I haven’t seen him [Paul Levesque] in so long and to see him in his new position. He’s doing really well with it. He’s very comfortable. He hired a big team underneath him to take care of everything that he needs taken care of, kinda like Vince did.
Kurt Angle went on to talk about how Triple H has brought in people around him he knows he will have chemistry with.
So he hired Road Dogg, part of Generation-DX [obviously meaning D-Generation X. He’s got his boys there and I think that’s great because they all have great chemistry.
The Road Dogg has been given the title Senior Vice President Of Live Events, whilst Shawn Michaels is also now known as Senior Vice President Of Talent Development Creative.
Kurt Angle recently made a special guest appearance on the 29th August 2022 edition of Monday Night Raw, where he recreated an iconic segment with Edge.
