Konosuke Takeshita To Defend International Title At AEW Full Gear
Another huge title match has been added to AEW Full Gear.
At WrestleDream, Konosuke Takeshita captured the International Title after Kyle Fletcher made sure Will Ospreay didn’t leave with the gold. Since then, the other man involved in that three-way match, Ricochet, has been on a mission to take the title from the Japanese star.
And at Full Gear, Ricochet will get the chance to do just that.
In a post on social media, Tony Khan announced that Takeshita would defend his International Title against the former WWE star.

With the rivalry running red hot for weeks on @AEWonTV, the International Title will be at stake in the fight that the AEW fans want to see: Takeshita vs Ricochet THIS SATURDAY!
Meanwhile, it’s already been announced that Konosuke Takeshita will challenge Shingo Takagi for the NEVER Openweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 19. The match comes with the added stipulation that if Takeshita is still International Champion, that title will also be up for grabs.
AEW Full Gear 2024 – Updated Card
On the pre-show, Costco Guy AJ is set to take on QT Marshall, after Marshall challenged the social media star to a match back in October. It’s also been reported by Fightful Select that another women’s match will be added to the show, likely involving Deonna Purrazzo as she’s local to the area.
Meanwhile, there has been a great deal of speculation that Toni Storm could make her AEW return at the event, despite pledging to leave the wrestling industry behind. Many believe the comments were Storm retiring her “Timeless” persona as she bids to get revenge on Mariah May. Tony Khan has stated reports of Storm’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
