Killian Dain Recalls “The Most Bizarre Thing” He Saw Vince McMahon Do
Former WWE Superstar Killian Dain has spoken about the most “bizarre” thing he has ever seen, Vince McMahon playing hide and seek backstage.
Former Sanity member Killian Dain – now going by Big Damo – recently sat down with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful and spoke about his time in WWE. The star was asked about the surprising spectacle of 76-year-old Vince McMahon getting in the ring one more time at WrestleMania 38 and if he had ever seen McMahon try to wrestle anybody backstage.
Dain said that while he hadn’t seen Vince McMahon wrestle anyone, he did witness something even stranger when he walked in on the WWE Chairman playing hide and seek with Alexander Wolfe.
“I did see one day, he played hide and seek with Alexander Wolfe. It was one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen. ‘Cause he can be very affable. He can affable, he can be very funny. I never saw him be physical, but there was one time—don’t get me wrong, this is hilarious because I was 330 pounds at this point—and I shake his hand and he pulls me in to tell me something.”
“I can’t even remember what he said, but he pulls me in, I was like, ‘This guy literally just pulled me over.’ I was thinking to myself, ‘If I pull back, I’d probably pull his arm off.’ But I was not expecting his strength at the time. Sadly I never saw him wrestle anybody. Hopefully, that would have been better than the stunner the other day.”
“Honestly, I had to walk away. I thought it was the most bizarre thing I’d ever seen.”
At WrestleMania, Vince McMahon, with more than a little assistance from Austin Theory, defeated Pat McAfee in an impromptu match before Steve Austin hit him with one final Stunner. It has since been reported that many close to McMahon had told him in the lead-up to the event that getting back in the ring was “a terrible idea”.
