Kevin Owens Gives Blunt Description Of Relationship With CM Punk

Kevin Owens and CM Punk are far from best friends.

While Corey Graves might have mended the fence with CM Punk, things remain a little frosty between the former AEW star and Kevin Owens. There have been hints that the pair don’t especially see eye-to-eye and given Owens’ relationship with The Young Bucks, that’s perhaps not surprising.

With that in mind, during an interview with The Gorilla Position podcast, Owens was asked about his relationship with Punk, and his answer was simple. There isn’t one.

“Well, we have no relationship. No, we’re not each other’s type of people, I don’t think. We’ll acknowledge each other. There’s a ten-foot vicinity that if we enter in, then we have to kinda ‘Hey. Hi.’ Otherwise, we just don’t, and it’s fine. It’s perfectly fine.”

When asked whether he’d seen a change in Punk since he returned to WWE at Survivor Series, Owens commented that he didn’t care.

“I don’t know that, and I don’t care, to be honest. I am who I am. He is who he is, and it’s fine that way.”

AJ Styles Expected Issues With CM Punk

Speaking in a recent interview, AJ Styles admitted he was expecting to have problems with CM Punk when he walked back into WWE.

Punk and Styles clashed on social media back in 2020, and The Phenomenal One also has several friends in AEW.

However, Styles admitted that Punk had proven him wrong.
