Kenny Omega Set For Singles Match On AEW Collision

Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega has an AEW Tag Team Title shot in his future but first he must deal with a big challenge handed down for an all-Canadian affair.

In recent weeks, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho have overcome their past differences to find common enemies in The Don Callis Family. The Golden Jets went even further at Full Gear when they picked up a win over The Young Bucks to take The Buck’s guaranteed AEW Tag Team Title shot from them.

However, when AEW returns to Canada, Kenny Omega will face a very different kind of challenge.

On Collision in Erie, Pennsylvania Ethan Page dished out a challenge to Kenny Omega. Page noted that he lost in his quest to become AEW World Champion against MJF in Canada previously and had been racking up wins in Ring of Honor ever since. So now he was calling out one of the top names in Canada in Kenny Omega for a match when Collision heads to Montreal.

Later in the show, it was confirmed that the match between Page and Omega would take place on Collision which will air on the 9th of December. That show will also feature two matches in the Blue League of the Continental Classic.

Kenny Omega Bout Not The Only All-Canadian AEW Match

While Kenny Omega and Ethan Page might be battling for pride in front of their native audience, a match on Dynamite in Montreal will have even more on the line.

The 6th of December edition of Dynamite will see Adam Copeland go one-on-one with Christian Cage for the TNT Championship as this incredibly personal feud sees Copeland finally get his hands on his former tag team partner.
