Kenny Omega Nixes ‘Swerve City’ Appearance Due To ‘Unfortunate Circumstances’
Swerve Strickland won’t be interviewing Kenny Omega as previously scheduled.
Former AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega was set to be interviewed by one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Swerve Strickland on Swerve’s ‘Swerve City’ podcast. However, due to what’s being called ‘unfortunate circumstances’, Omega won’t be on the show’s next episode and ‘The Cleaner’ will be rescheduled to a later date.
Swerve announced the Omega’s postponement on Twitter, while noting that the show’s next guest will be announced on Monday, September 12 at Noon EDT.
Due to unfortunate circumstances the interview with Kenny Omega, has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned for a rescheduled appearance in the future.

In case you haven’t heard, Omega was involved in a physical altercation alongside his ‘The Elite’ stablemates, Matt and Nick Jackson, alongside CM Punk as well as other AEW personnel and on-screen talent. The skirmish took place following Punk’s controversial remarks about Omega and co. during the post-show media scrum after the recent All Out pay-per-view.
