Kenny Omega Mocks Issues With CM Punk
The issues with CM Punk and The Elite are as well known as anything on AEW television and now Kenny Omega has taken a playful swipe at the commotion that is still going on.
CM Punk has not been seen in AEW since All Out in 2022 where he won the AEW World Title, ranted at several of his colleagues in a press conference, and then was involved in a backstage fight with The Elite. All involved in the fight were suspended but Punk is the only one – 7 months later – that has not returned to the company, although that could be set to change.
Taking to social media, Kenny Omega seemed to indicate that he was going to address the issues with Punk before switching back to the people he has a problem with on AEW television – the Blackpool Combat Club:
“Since everyone is asking, I’ll spill the beans… I have a huge problem with certain people on our roster – And they happen to be members of the Blackpool Combat Club! I’ll speak more about it Wednesday on #AEWDynamite”

The Blackpool Combat Club have taken aim at The Elite in recent weeks after the trio came to their old friend-turned-rival Hangman Adam Page’s aid when he was outnumbered by the group. The BCC sent The Young Bucks to the hospital and recently picked apart The Elite’s associates, Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa in ruthless fashion.
