Kazuchika Okada’s First AEW Match Revealed

Kazuchika Okada

Kazuchika Okada made his shock debut as a member of the AEW roster and an even more shocking reveal that he is now not just All Elite but The Elite.

The wrestling world was rocked when Kazuchika Okada revealed that he was quitting NJPW as he looked towards the next stage of his career.

Despite rumours that Okada was heading to WWE, all the questions surrounding him were answered on Dynamite in Duluth, Georgia when The Rainmaker appeared in AEW.

The power-mad Young Bucks came to the ring promising two huge announcements. Firstly, Hangman Adam Page is suspended from The Elite after attacking two referees at Revolution. It is believed Adam Page is set to miss some time from TV with his suspension being used as a cover for that.

The Bucks then went a step further with Kenny Omega as they fired the former AEW World Champion from The Elite. That led to Eddie Kingston confronting the Jackson brothers after they had threatened to fine him for his bad language.

The Young Bucks To Team With Kazuchika Okada

Ultimately, The Young Bucks attacked Kingston and were set to hit an EVP Trigger before the familiar coin dropped and Kazuchika Okada appeared to a deafening ovation. Okada stood side by side with Kingston before taking his wrist and dropping Kingston with a Rainmaker.

The Young Bucks then proudly revealed that Okada was the newest member of The Elite. Now, the trio will be in action in what will be Kazuchika Okada’s first match as part of the AEW roster when they compete in a trios match on the 9th of March edition of Collision. No opponents have been revealed for that match.
