Kazuchika Okada Returning To TNA
It’s been announced that Kazuchika Okada is returning to TNA.
On the December 7th episode of IMPACT, it was announced that Kazuchika Okada will be appearing at Snake Eyes in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is set to take place on January 14th, 2024.
Okada appeared in TNA in 2010 and 2011 but made it clear once he left that he didn’t enjoy his time there. In fact, his run was so disappointing and NJPW felt he was misused so badly that it actually soured the relationship between the two promotions.
It’s also been confirmed that Will Ospreay will be appearing at the event. The British star is set to begin his career with AEW a month later.
Is Kazuchika Okada Joining WWE?
It’s been reported that Kazuchika Okada is set to become a free agent in January 2024. Furthermore, there is a belief that the star is seriously entertaining the possibility of leaving NJPW, although it remains to be seen as to whether it actually happens.
The news came after it was noted that WWE holds an interest in trying to secure his signature. While a deal might seem unlikely, there has been increased talk within WWE about the seven-time World Champion.
It’s even been suggested that Shinsuke Nakamura’s recent WWE push could be an attempt to woo Okada.
