Kazuchika Okada Runs Back Dream Match On AEW Dynamite 300
Before he gets in the ring with Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada will run back another huge dream match on AEW Dynamite 300.
Kazuchika Okada has been part of The Elite since he joined AEW, taking on a persona never seen from The Rainmaker before. Okada claimed the AEW Continental Championship early in his tenure in the company and has held on to it ever since. But at All In Texas, he faces double or nothing.
Okada will clash with his old rival Kenny Omega in a title unification match as the Continental and International titles make way for the all-new AEW Unified Championship.
That match took a new twist as Okada aligned with the slimy Don Callis, ensuring he had more than enough backup to try and take Omega out of action for good. However, The Best Bout Machine has a friend or two he can still count on as Kota Ibushi made his surprise return to AEW after nineteen months away from the company.
Kota Ibushi To Meet Kazuchika Okada 4 Years After Catastrophe
On the June 25th edition of Dynamite, Ibushi was back in action as he defeated Trent Beretta. After the match, he was immediately confronted by Kazuchika Okada and a match between the two Japanese stars was made for the 300th edition of Dynamite on July 2nd.
The last time Okada and Ibushi met was in the final of the 2021 NJPW G1 Climax tournament. That match ended in complete disaster as a devastating injury suffered by Ibushi caused the bout to be stopped, with Okada declared the winner. The injury kept Kota Ibushi out of action for 15 months, during which time Ibushi’s time in NJPW came to a very messy end.
