Karrion Kross Drops Bombshell Revelation About Failed WWE Contract Negotiations

Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s fairytale run with WWE ended on August 10.

After weeks of reports emerging about their contract renewal, the Stamford promotion decided to part ways with the real-life couple, signaling an end to their second stint.

Kross announced their departure through a YouTube vlog, which was uploaded on the same day their contracts expired.

The 40-year-old former World Wrestling Entertainment star recently appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show, where he dropped a bombshell revelation about failed contract negotiations.

The Herald of Doom claimed that WWE never offered his wife, Scarlett, a renewed deal.

There was no offer to her. I was told at one point, because I did inquire, ‘After we deal with you, we’ll deal with her.’ I don’t see why we couldn’t have done things the way we did them before where we do the deals together. [H/T: Fightful]

During the interview, Karrion Kross also said that he was given the amended contract the same week his contract was set to expire. Furthermore, WWE gave him 24 hours to accept or it would rescind it.

Karrion Kross Sought Clarity About The Contract, But Was Not Offered Any

Karrion Kross claimed to know that speculations prevailed about his WWE exit being a work. However, he said that what he was saying was “legit.”

The former NXT Champion then said that he wanted to hold a fair discussion about the valuation regarding the new offer, but was denied.

I got the offer. I wanted to know how they came to the valuation of that offer. Just wanted some information, some metrics, some analytics that’s supporting to, Hey, this is how we got here. When I inquired about that, they were unwilling to provide that information and told me they had 24 hours to agree to the offer or they were [rescinding] it.

The next day, we talk. I ask if they have the information. They don’t. I said, I can’t make an informed decision without the information. I’d like to keep the dialogue open. They [rescinded] the offer, and that’s actually where we’re at.

Karrion Kross’ last WWE match was against Sami Zayn at SummerSlam, which he believed did not meet his expectations.
